How each cell’s size is worked out
A grid looks simple, but spacing isn’t free: every gap and border comes out of the photos. Drag the sliders to see the arithmetic the editor does for every download.
(1080 − 2 × 24 − 2 × 12) ÷ 3 = 336.0 px per photo
Photos fill 93% of the width; the rest is border. There are always one fewer gaps than photos, which is why a grid with a thick border and thin gaps looks “framed”, and equal border and gaps looks like tiles.
Rule of thumb: on a 1080 px Instagram post, keep cells at least 250 px wide (about 4 across) so faces stay recognisable on a phone.

How do I make a photo grid?
Set the number of rows and columns, add your photos (they fill left to right, top to bottom), adjust spacing and border, then download. Every cell is exactly the same size.
What is the difference between a photo grid and a collage?
A grid uses equal cells in rows and columns. A collage can mix sizes, for example one big photo with smaller ones. Use the collage maker for mixed layouts.
How big can the grid be?
Up to 10 × 10 (100 photos). For big grids choose Print quality so each cell stays large enough to see.
Can I make a grid with no gaps?
Yes. Set Spacing and Border to 0 for a seamless grid, or raise them for a gallery-wall look.
