How to make a collage here
- Add photos. Tap “Choose photos” and pick several at once, or drag them onto the editor. They fill the frames in order.
- Pick a layout and size. Swap layouts at any time: your photos stay put. Choose 4:5 for an Instagram post, 9:16 for a story, 3:2 for a 6×4 print.
- Fine-tune. Tap a frame to select it (circled in red), drag the photo to reframe, zoom, or swap it with another frame. Adjust spacing, border, corners, background and add a caption.
- Download. Choose Social, High or Print quality. The file is built on your device at full resolution.

Is CollageGrid really free with no watermark?
Yes. Every layout, size and export quality is free, and the downloaded image contains only your photos. There is no premium tier and no logo stamped in the corner.
Do I need to sign up or install an app?
No. It runs in any modern browser on phone, tablet or computer. Open the page, add photos, download.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. Photos are read and drawn by your own browser. They are never sent to us, which is also why it is fast on slow connections. Only your layout and style settings are remembered on your device.
How many photos can I put in one collage?
Templates range from 2 to 41 frames across 65 layouts. For any other number, the photo grid maker lets you set up to 10 × 10.
What sizes can I download?
Square, Instagram portrait 4:5, 3:4, story 9:16, wide 16:9, 6×4 and 4×6 print, and A4. Quality goes up to 3600 px on the short side, as JPG or PNG.
Can I use iPhone HEIC photos?
Safari on iPhone and Mac reads HEIC directly. Chrome on Windows usually can’t; there, export the photo as JPG first (on iPhone: Settings → Camera → Formats → Most Compatible).
